Brewers Cottage is owned by Mark and Gaynor Scandle, who live across the field from the cottage with their children Lewis and Ellie, their dogs, chickens and horses. They also run a bespoke dog boarding establishment for a maximum of 6 dogs.

 

Mark and Gaynor have lived at Leafields for 11 years and started to build the cottage in January 2018.

 

The name Brewers Cottage came about as the large shed next door to the cottage housed Hexhamshire Brewery, run by the Dipton Mill Inn, for 27 years, so we wanted something to remember its past use and the happy memories we had of Geoff Brooker, our favourite landlord at the Dipton Mill.
