Can I use the hot tub?
Hot tub for 6 people - available 10am-10pm.
We check the PH levels etc every day but ask you to top it up with hot water (taps next to hot tub) after use, if the water level gets too low the hot tub automatically switches off.
Are there local takeaways?
Many of the restaurant, pubs, cafes etc in Corbridge, Hexham and Slaley do takeaways but only one or two do actual deliveries. I always send to you before your arrival a list of great places to eat and visit.
Can I bring my dog?
We run a bespoke dog boarding business from our house for up to 7 dogs, plus our 4., so we need guests to know there are a lot of other dogs around. You can check out our website at www.Leafieldsdogs.wordpress.com/
We do allow 1 dog as long as it is prearranged before your visit, the dog must be kept under supervision at all times, as we do have livestock in the surrounding fields. No dogs upstairs or on the furniture. Please do not leave the dog alone in the cottage - if you do need to borrow a dog cage or want us to walk your dog this can be arranged. There is an additional cleaning fee of £25 per stay.
Is there a BBQ?
There is a gas BBQ, with all equipment and essentials, for your use during your stay. Plus comfy outdoor seating and outside crockery. Local butchers include Cranstons (Hexham) or Robsons (Corbridge) where delicious meat packs can be purchased.
Are you family friendly?
Absolutely! We have a full size cot and high chair available on request, plus storage space for prams, children's bikes etc. Children toys and games are also provided. Just a short drive away there is a great local outdoor play park, tennis court and football field and our nearest towns offer endless family fun.

Beautiful barn which was spotlessly clean and very well equipped - even had a Wii and X-box! Very quiet and relaxing - lying in hot tub staring at stars in the dark Northumberland skies. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and intend to return some time in the future.
